Week 26

This past Monday I had my monthly doctors appointment. Everything looked good. I am gaining the right amount of weight, measuring on track and the heartbeat was loud and clear. I had mixed feelings about this appointment. I was excited to see how the baby was doing, but I was dreading the gestational diabetes test. I wasn't really concerned about the taste of the drink (which surprisingly was actually tasty), but rather the part that required blood being drawn. To my amazement, drawing my blood this time was not horrible. I would not go as far to say it was pleasant, but much better than previous times. I am happy to report that I passed with flying colors. I can say good-bye to any more blood tests. Yeah!!!
